Supporting partnerships

Supporting partnerships requires listening to partners. Partner-sensing was an important part of my science delivery role at the US Forest Service. One of my responsibilities was to summarize partner input for agency leadership, such as this internal report.
Partner-sensing takes time and careful preparation. I developed this template of questions to help guide such partner outreach efforts.
Cultivating new partnerships requires persuasive outreach. For example, this 2-page flyer I wrote describes the power of partnership as well as the unique opportunities for learning and building bridges.
Coproduction of research takes a lot of time and partnership-building skills, as described in this presentation I helped create for a special science-management integration team.
